What is Woodress?
Woodress is a textured decorative finish made in Italy. Its distinctive character comes from the combination of three-dimensional textures and handcrafted decoration, recreating the look and feel of a fabric’s weave on the surface.

Surfaces. A new weave.
Made in Italy. A surface to see and feel.
Woodress was born from a simple idea: transforming the surface of wood into something unexpected. At first glance, the finish evokes the weave of a fabric; as you move closer and run your hand across the surface, an elegant, refined and tactile texture emerges.
In developing this finish, our challenge was to recreate the raw feel of the simplest yarns, such as cotton and linen, which convey a sense of simplicity. Building on this foundation, we developed variations that enrich the surface with decoration and more intricate patterns, always maintaining a handcrafted approach and using only water-based paints and bio-based products.
The result is a finish that combines texture, research and craftsmanship, transforming furniture into a surface to look at, but also to touch.

A three-dimensional texture that surprises up close. The natural interplay of light and shadow captures the visual and tactile qualities of real fabric, bringing depth to the finished surface.

Texture, research and craftsmanship come together in a finish made exclusively with water-based paints and bio-based products. From simple weaves to elaborate decoration, each variation expresses its own character.
Alongside its visual and tactile qualities, the finish offers high chemical and mechanical resistance.
The method is the subject of Italian patent application no. 102025000012760, filed on 30 May 2025.
Woven textures, botanical motifs, geometric relief and floral decoration offer different expressions of this textile-inspired finish. Explore a surface research project for different substrates through close-up views of its textures and handcrafted details.
