How we process personal data and how to exercise your rights.

Data and purposes
When you contact us, we process your name, email address and message to respond to enquiries, consultations and quotations and manage any subsequent business relationship. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); legal obligations fall under Article 6(1)(c). This website does not use your data to send newsletters or advertising.
The form sends your details to Master Lux through the email service. Messages are not stored in a website database.
Your name, email and message are needed to handle the enquiry; without them we cannot respond through the form. You can also contact us by telephone. Please do not include health information or other special categories of personal data that are not necessary for your enquiry.
Browsing and security
The systems serving the website may process IP addresses, dates and times, requested URLs and browser information to deliver pages, diagnose issues and prevent abuse. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in website security and operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). When website email sending is active, a temporary counter per IP address limits repeated submissions and expires after ten minutes. We do not carry out profiling or automated decisions producing legal effects.
Recipients and external services
The website’s hosting provider is Utixo.
Data may be accessed by authorised personnel and hosting, maintenance and email providers as required to deliver their services, with agreements under Article 28 GDPR where applicable; data may be disclosed to authorities where required by law. It is not made public.
Brother 1816 fonts are loaded through Adobe Fonts. Your browser contacts Adobe servers and transmits its IP address and information needed to deliver the fonts. Adobe states that its web font service does not set cookies or store the IP address received for font delivery. External services may process data outside the European Economic Area; applicable conditions and safeguards are described in the providers’ notices.
Social network and Google Maps links open external websites only when selected. We do not embed social feeds, maps or videos. Destination websites apply their own privacy policies.
Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure visits and pages viewed. The service processes browser and device data, visited pages and cookie identifiers. Processing is based on consent, which you can withdraw through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. The tag is not loaded before consent or after rejection. The _ga and _ga_ZGSM1TK95S cookies distinguish visits and sessions; their maximum lifetime is set to 180 days without automatic renewal. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. For processing and international transfers, consult Google’s privacy policy. Data retention within the service depends on the Analytics property settings.
Retention
Enquiries and correspondence are retained as long as needed to handle your request and follow-up contacts. If a contractual relationship begins, necessary data is retained for applicable administrative and accounting obligations; in disputes, for the time needed to protect legal rights. Technical log retention depends on security needs and hosting services. You may ask the controller about the retention periods applicable to your request. The banner choice is stored on your device for 180 days.
Your rights
Where applicable under Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw any consent without affecting prior processing. Contact masterlux@masterlux.it.
