Master Lux is an Italian furniture finishing workshop founded in 2007 in Bovolone, near Verona. We work with furniture manufacturers, architects and designers on bespoke wood finishes, combining traditional decorative techniques with research into new surfaces.
Based in the furniture-making district of Bovolone, we specialise in lacquer finishes, hand-painted decoration, marble effects and gold and silver leaf applications. Our craft expertise supports the choice of finish and its execution on the furniture.

We work with manufacturers and designers to define the colour, texture and character of each piece. From antiquing to hand-painted decoration, the finishing process brings together the furniture design, the material and the desired appearance.
Traditional wood finishing is our starting point for exploring new ways to express the material. Woodress grew out of this research: a textile-inspired wood finish that brings three-dimensional textures and decorative patterns to furniture surfaces.
